Maya Okonkwo

Maya — Morning Vinyasa · Foundations.
“Practice doesn't have to be hard to be honest.”
Maya opened Northbrook in 2019 after a decade teaching at studios in Manhattan and Lisbon. Her vinyasa is paced and precise — the kind of class where your form quietly improves over the course of a season.

Daniel Park

Daniel — Slow Flow.
“I'd rather you finish one good breath than rush through ten.”
Daniel teaches the Saturday Slow Flow that's become Northbrook's most loved class. A former dancer, he reads a room like a choreographer — adjusting pace, music, and silence to whatever the morning needs.

Priya Shah

Priya — Yin · Restorative · Foundations.
“You can rest without earning it. Promise.”
Priya trained in Yin under Bernie Clark and brings that lineage's quiet rigor to every class. Her Restorative on Friday evenings is, by widespread agreement, the best way to end a week.

Sam Rivers

Sam — Morning Vinyasa · Slow Flow.
“Cueing is editing. Less is almost always more.”
Sam came to teaching after twelve years in publishing — which shows in the way he cues: clear, unhurried, and never one word more than needed. His Tuesday evening Vinyasa is a favorite of long-time students.
